Merry Christmas!

Braden turns 2!

Okay, okay. I know I've been terrible about posting. A lot has happened since my last post in June of course. For one, our toddler has turned into a little boy! I can't tell you when it happened as it seems it was just overnight. I looked at him one day and he looked SO BIG! It's a little sad but also exciting and fun.

Also, we sold the other house and bought one that is much bigger. Yeah, finally! We're on 2 1/2 acres in a new ranch home. We really like it and most important, Braden just LOVES it! After 2 months he's still calling it his new house. He loves to show everyone his new room. We sure are having fun in our new home!

Braden is such a joy. He just keeps us laughing every day. I often get in trouble with Marty for it. He says, "can't you be an adult?" Um, yeah, but that doesn't mean I'll refrain from laughing! This kid cracks me up! Yes, sometimes I have to cover my mouth or walk out of the room to laugh so I don't encourage his antics but it's tough when things are so funny.

Christmas was so much fun with him this year. He kept saying, "Guess what? Santa is coming!" I had Braden make gift bags with blankets and goodies for his teachers. I'd like him to learn that giving is rewarding. He had a lot of fun making them and then delivering them to each of his teachers and the cooks at the daycare. He took them their bags and told them Merry Christmas. When their faces lit up his did as well. Then he gave each of them a great big hug. It was a lot of fun to watch. Later on he told me that was fun and "let's do it again tomorrow!"

Obviously so much has happened since I last posted I can't fit it all in without a book. I'll just share the pictures instead!

Braden and Jess both enjoyed the cake!

I'm Number 1!!

He told me to take a picture of his sad face! Ha, ha!

We spent the day at the Children's Museum. This is where we launched rockets!

Playing at the click clack train track

Making BIG bubbles!

Climbing up the ant hill.
The kids can climb up the hill, then there's a hole in the top where they climb down and there are several branches of tunnels underneath to explore and come out in different areas. Braden had the best time playing here!

Having a great day playing with mom!

Here's the lighted dance floor. When you stepped on it, a dot appeared under you. Then if he got close to me, our dots would merge into a larger one of a different color. He danced like crazy then decided it was fun to chase me and try to catch my dot!

Braden dressed up in his fireman clothes then played with the horns and took a turn driving after that.

Playing in the tree house

Grandma Beverly, Grandpa PH and Grandma Phyllis came out to visit us for Thanksgiving. It's was so nice having family warm our new home for the holiday!
Here Beverly and Phyllis are getting things out to make Turkeys with Braden. They were cookies and different treats put together to look like turkeys.

Grandma and Braden watching Rio. I think B is telling her a story. :-)

Braden and Jess playing with Grandma Beverly's walker. They thought that was a lot of fun!

Dad & Braden decorating the tree

Hey Santa! I wanna ride your reindeer!

Braden thinks it's great fun to dig mom's shoes out of the closet and clomp around in them. You can only imagine how happy that makes Marty! I thought this picture captured him in a manner that would REALLY make dad happy! LOL
