Welcome to the Daniels Family Blog!

Well, I'm finally getting started! Please forgive any errors, I'm still learning. :-) I'll just give a brief update of a couple of the big happenings this summer:

Braden Des was born on July 9th at 8:05pm. He weighed 5 lb. 15 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. Labor was uneventful and not as bad as I had feared. Braden is a healthy, happy boy!

Welcome Braden Des Daniels

Not feeling too bad for just delivering him!

I'm guessing Braden is about 10 minutes old here

Grandma Phyllis came to visit on Saturday when we came home from the hospital. Of course she HAD to put that awful hat on him! I mentioned something about wiping his butt with it....some of us would find that pretty funny. My genius child promptly filled his diaper once the hat was placed on his head. I knew he was going to be a good boy!! GO BUFFALOES!

On August 10th I took Braden on his first trip to Nebraska to visit his Grandma Phyllis, Great Grandma & Grandpa (Beverly & PH), Great Aunt Pat & Uncle Paul, his 2nd cousin Kandi and anyone that Grandma wanted to show him off to! Marty came out on Thursday to join us for the county fair and take his son to his first rodeo! Braden slept through most of it but we have to start him early.

Kandi - thanks a million for coming out to help with the little guy! It was much appreciated and the extra sleep was wonderful!

For Labor Day weekend we went camping at Guernsey Reservoir with Angie, Bill, Trevor, Scott & Rhonda. Trevor came up with a new name for Rhonda.....Ron & Honda! Ha, ha. Braden pretty much stayed in the air conditioned camper and I was able to FINALLY go wakeboarding again! The weather was beautiful and the water was great. We all had a really good time and can't wait to do it again.

As soon as I find more time, I'll post more updates and pictures!
